Bicycle are a great way to move around but sometimes there is a need for something that will feel more natural moving around in tough terrain.
I propose a new evolution to the bicycle that includes another set of front legs.
One would lean on this bicycle like device with legs and run forward. The forward mechanical legs would automatically mirror the movement of the back human legs. The support of the device will make a person run much lighter and most of its weight will be leaning on the device and the device would help the person achieve running speed with little effort over a long time in touch terrain optionally carrying heavy weight.
An optional addition is electric motor to replace or extend the mechanical device.
Another option is a gear box to control if the steps will be long and shallow or short and high according to the terrain type. An electric version or sensor enabled version could do this automatically.
This can create a fully mechanical device like a bicycle or a fully motorized version like a bike.
