A wearable computer that gouges your popularity

Clothing items equipped with camera and stare recognition technology can scan the space around you constantly and record who is looking at you, at what areas, how many times and for how long…

The log files with images can be more fun than the actual party…

Use webcam to track eyes and enlarge areas you are looking at

Filed under: Ideas — Tags: — Roy Daya @ 06:20

This idea will better utilize screen space by using the web cam to track the eyes movement and enhance your experience at what you are looking at. It may be to render a movie or image more smoothly there or enlarge that window or enlarging fonts in lines you are reading  or do anything else you program it to do.

This can be useful if the screen is far away or behind a glass like in a shop and you don’t have an input device.

Creating a probe with lasers light years away

The difficulty exploring objects that are light years away in space is the time it would take a probe to get there using conventional technologies.

We are probably very far from being able to accomplish the following idea but maybe someone can use it as a starting point for something useful…

Instead of creating an object and trying to propel it in space for a very long time in relative low speed, my idea is to pick an object already located light years away in space and use very powerful lasers, beams, rays or whatever else to do pre-define nano-manipulation from remote distance and carve this object into something we can use for example carving a lens like object from an ice asteroid or using metal objects and reflect pulses to bounce beams from other objects in its surrounding and relay some kind of disturbance map…

Basketball robotic board and hoop that moves to assist shots

This idea is to create a robotic basketball hoop and board that has a camera and that can move to assist shots at a predefined level… this can help players at different levels play together and have fun.

Levels can be:

-    Assist High 10 inch movement
-    Assist Medium 5 inch movement
-    Assist Low 2 inch movement
-    Assist random
-    No Assist
-    Disturbance low 1 inch
-    Disturbance random

International Food and Beverage Company

I met with an executive of the company who I knew through my business network after sitting on my own and coming up with what I thought was a few very interesting ideas they might want to commercially explore.

We sat for an hour, drunk coffee and I went through 44 ideas I had to improve current products, new product extensions and new product concepts.

The feedback was that some of them are indeed interesting.

I do this from time to time… crash into someone’s office, read out a list of ideas and run out :)

Lots of fun, a great guy.
