In many cases we want to separate trash into more than one bag. For example wet and dry. Kitchen real-estate is expensive and putting two recycle bins one next to the other is not always practical.
This idea allows putting two bags in a single container and according to which pedal is pressed- the needed bag is opened using a rotating semi circular plastic or metal rim.
This design is not perfect as when one of the bags is full it may be difficult to throw into the other one but assuming that full bags will be replaced it can be a cool idea.
